Vaughn Edges Touro Behind Taylor's Career High

The Vaughn College Warriors men's basketball team played Touro College on Sunday, November 19, at Baruch College. The Warriors entered the game with a perfect 2-0 record. Despite a slow start from both teams it ended up being a high scoring back and forth game. Vaughn College held on to defeat Touro College 71-68.

The Warriors were led by senior guard Maleec Taylor (Roosevelt, NY). Taylor finished the game with his first double-double of the season. He scored a career high 34 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Taylor went 10-12 from the free throw line and was 6/13 from behind the three-point line. This was his third straight game dishing out five assists. 

Bryan Green (Bronx, NY) had another solid performance for the men's basketball team. Green recorded his third straight double-double to start off the season. He scored 15 points, all coming in the second half, and grabbed 14 rebounds.

 The win improves the Warriors' record to 3-0. They will face Five Towns College on Tuesday, November 21, at Elmcor Recreation Center.
