Warriors Fall to the Panthers

The Vaughn College men's basketball team suffered their second loss in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) on Saturday, February 4. The Warriors started the game off very strong going up by 10 points early in the first half. The Panthers would respond and take a two point lead into the halftime break. That lead would expand in the second half for the Panthers as the Warriors would fall to Albany Pharmacy by a final score of 81-66.

Lamink Barr (Yonkers, NY) led the way for the Warriors. Barr finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Donald Tompson (Yonkers, NY)  scored 12 points and pulled down seven rebounds. Jessie Rosario (New York, NY) added eight points and seven rebounds. 

The Warriors' record drops to 4-2 in the HVIAC and 12-5 overall. The men will host HVIAC opponent Pratt Institute on Thursday, February 9 at Elmcor Recreation Center. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
