The Vaughn College men's basketball team defeated The New School 73-59 on Tuesday, January 31. This was the second win in a row for the Warriors after their eight game win streak was snapped by Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC)  rival Berkeley College (NY) a week ago. 

The Warriors were led by Joshua Colome (Bronx, NY). Colome finished with 16 points, grabbed four rebounds and recorded four steals off the bench. Carlos Montes (Yonkers, NY) added 15 points, six rebounds and two steals. John Jimenez (Yonkers) scored a season high 11 points and pulled down four rebounds. 

The men's basketball team will travel to SUNY Delhi on Wednesday, February 1, to take on the Broncos. This will be the first match-up between both schools in program history.
