Warriors Win Early Game against Touro College

Warriors Win Early Game against Touro College

On Sunday, December 4, the Warriors defeated Touro College 86-65 to pick up their second win of the season. The Warriors had a slow start, primarily due to the early game time. The game tipped off at approximately 9:20 a.m. The men's basketball team was very lethargic and sluggish for the first 10 minutes of the game. They would pick up their intensity on offense and defense to make a late run in the first half and take control of the game. Unlike the Warriors' previous contests, they would not relinquish their lead in the second half and would close out Touro College in convincing fashion.

The Warriors had four players score double-digits in the game. Dillon Dieng (Bronx, NY)  lead the way for Vaughn College with 20 points and six rebounds. Lamink Barr (Yonkers, NY) poured in 18 points and pulled down six rebounds. Carlos Montes (Yonkers, NY) chipped in 12 points and Ian Parker (Yonkers, NY) added 11 points in the contest.

The men's basketball improve their record to 2-3 on the season. They will be back in action on Saturday, December 10, against non-conference opponent Five Towns College.
