Pena, Mejia and Chaucer Receive All-Conference Honors

The Vaughn College Warriors had three players named to the All-HVIAC Men's Basketball Team for the 2015-16 season. The HVIAC All-Conference Team is selected by the conference's men's basketball coaches based on regular season conference play. The Warriors' dynamic backcourt, Michael Pena (Dumont, NJ) and Sergio Mejia (New York, NY), and senior forward Moises Chaucer (Bronx, NY) were selected.

Michael Pena led the HVIAC in scoring this season averaging just over 23 points per contest. This is his second time being named to the All-HVIAC Men's Basketball Team.

Sergio Mejia was the 2014-15 Rookie of the Year for the HVIAC. Mejia averaged 15.7 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game for the Warriors this season. This is Mejia's first time being selected to the All-HVIAC Men's Basketball Team.

Moises Chaucer ends his fantastic career at Vaughn College with four HVIAC playoff appearances and two HVIAC championship game appearances. Chaucer now adds his first selection to the All-HVIAC Men's Basketball Team to his resume.
