Warriors Bounce Back against New School

QUEENS, N.Y. - The Warriors defeated the New School Narwharls in a bounce back victory on Thursday, February 11. The Warriors entered the game coming off a tough loss the night before to conference rival Berkeley College (NY). The Warriors, fueled by their recent loss, dominated the Narwharls from start to finish.

Sergio Mejia (New York, NY) returned to the Warriors' lineup after being inactive for the Berkeley College game. The 2014-15 conference rookie of the year poured in a team high 18 points, grabbed seven rebounds, dished out four assists and had four thefts. For the second game in a row Joshua Colome scored double digits. The Bronx native registered 15 points and pulled down five rebounds. Moises Chaucer (Bronx, NY) recorded his ninth double-double on the season. He finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The win improves the Warriors' record to 14-5 on the season. The Warriors will have one more game before the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) playoffs. They will face Touro College on Tuesday, February 16.
