ALBANY, N.Y. - The Vaughn College men's basketball team defeated the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) Panthers on Friday, January 22. The win improves the Warriors' record in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) to 4-0 and 11-3 overall.

Vaughn College was lead by backcourt teammates Sergio Mejia (New York, NY) and Michael Pena (Dumont, NJ). Mejia recorded his first double-double on the season against the Panthers. He finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Pena added 25 points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
