QUEENS, N.Y. - The Vaughn College men's basketball team defeated Touro College in their final game of the first semester on Monday, December 21. The Warriors had a double digit lead headed into the half time break. Touro College would cut the huge deficit to three points late in the second half. Vaughn College would regroup and finish the game strong, extending their win streak to five games. 

Junior guard Michael Pena (Dumont, NJ) led all scores in the game. Pena poured in 26 points, grabbed five rebounds, had five takeaways, and dished out four assists. Moises Chaucer (Bronx, NY) had his best game of the season. The senior forward finished with 14 points and a career high 17 rebounds. Maleec Taylor (Rockville Centre, NY) added 15 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals. 

The Warriors record improves to 7-1 with the win. They men's basketball team will return to action on Sunday, January 10. They will travel to Pennsylvania to take on Penn State Brandywine.
