QUEENS, N.Y. – The Vaughn College Warriors squared off against the New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) Lynx on Saturday, February 7. The Lynx came in to the game as the number five ranked division two team in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) . The Warriors suffered a tough 86-82 loss to the Lynx iearlier this season in the NHTI Tap-Off Classic. There was a lot riding on the outcome of this game. For the Warriors, a win would keep their season long four game win streak alive. For the Lynx, a win would ensure their top five ranking as a division two member in the USCAA.

The Lynx opened the game with a 10 point lead. The Warriors had a tough time initially adjusting to the fast paced up and down style of play by NHTI. The Warriors 14 point advantage over the Lynx would balloon to as many as 28 points in the second half. Vaughn College would go on to defeat NHTI 99-73, holding the Lynx to their second lowest scoring output of their season.

Everyone was able to play and contribute to the huge victory for the Warriors. Willis Prezzy (Ridgewood, NY) scored a career high 27 points, to go along with seven rebounds and six steals.
