Vaughn College Defeats Pratt Institute

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Five Warriors scored double figures in the men's basketball team's win over Pratt Institute on Thursday, December 4.  Guards Sergio Mejia (New York, NY) and Michael Pena (Dumont, NJ) both scored 20 points in the game and were a combined 15-23 from the field. Maleec Taylor (Rockville Centre, NY) scored his season high 15 points, connecting on four three-point field goals. Rashad Luckett (Chicago, IL) and Willis Prezzy (Ridgewood, NY) added 14 points and 10 points respectively.

For the first time all season, the Warriors outscored their opponents in both halves. The Warriors were able to score 32 points off of Pratt's 28 turnovers. Ball movement was a huge part of the Warriors' success as they dished out a season high 23 assists in the game. 

Next on the schedule for the Warriors is non-conference opponent St. Joseph's College of Long Island. The game will be played on Monday, December 8, at 7 p.m.
