Warriors Survive Albany Pharmacy’s Second Half Push

Astoria, N.Y. - The Warriors won a huge conference game in the HVIAC against Albany Pharmacy 75-71. Up by seven at the break, the Albany Pharmacy Panthers stormed back in the second half to pull within one point of the Warriors. The Panthers were devastated by 28 turnovers, helping the Warriors to secure a close four point victory.

Warrior guards Michael Pena (Dumont, NJ) and Rashad Luckett (Chicago, IL) were nightmares for the Panthers, as they both eclipsed 20 points for the game. Pena scored 25 points, dished out a couple of assists, and had three steals. Luckett scored a game-high 26 points to go along with seven rebounds and three assists.

The Panthers were led by Joe Britt's 19 points 14 rebounds performance. Casey Redfern added 14 points and 11 rebounds and Ryan McVaigh chipped in with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The Warriors improve their standing in the HVIAC (3-1) for third place in the conference.
