Vaughn College Accepted Into the USCAA

Vaughn College is proud to announce that they have been accepted into the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).  The College is the fifth school in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) to join the USCAA.

The goal of the USCAA is to give small colleges an opportunity to participate in a nationally recognized association.  The USCAA illustrates its dedication to the value and growth of their members by giving student athletes opportunities to play at a national level. The USCAA promotes its members by hosting national championships in 12 different sports and recognizing  individual accolades in each sport.  In addition to acknowledging performance on the field, the USCAA promotes its members that excel in the classroom by announcing weekly academic awards.

Vaughn College's acceptance into the USCAA gives all of Vaughn's student athletes the opportunity to be recognized nationally for their athletic abilities.  The athletic department at Vaughn is preparing the student athletes for tougher competition, longer seasons and playing at an overall higher level.  In addition to the increased competition, it has deepened the connection with fellow HVIAC members that are also affiliated with the USCAA.
Through the dedication of student athletes, coaches and staff, Vaughn plans to be competitive in each of its eight varsity sports, while instilling in each student athlete sportsmanship, academic excellence, and what it means to be a Vaughn Warrior.
