Vaughn College Enters The New Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference

Announced by the conference earlier this month, the Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference (HVMAC) and the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC) have merged to form the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC), effective for the upcoming 2013-2014 season.

The newly formed HVIAC will be composed of all existing members of the HVMAC and the HVWAC, with the addition of The King's College's eight varsity sports, thus increasing the level of competition within the conference.
Vaughn College will continue to participate in conference play with its eight varsity sports.  The HVIAC members voted in the spring to officially recognize baseball as a conference sport, which allows Vaughn to add it to its list of HVIAC-recognized varsity sports.

For more information about the conference, Vaughn students can visit the HVIAC's website, www.HVIAC.com, Facebook at www.facebook.com/hviac  and Twitter @HVIAC.
