Astoria, N.Y. - Jeffrey Noel (Brooklyn, NY) had an MRI done of his right knee showing a tear of his medial collateral ligament (MCL) and possible anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) sprain. The injury occurred late in the game during Vaughn College's game against Southern Maine Community College (SMCC). Noel has been a scoring machine for the Warriors all season. He is currently the leading scorer in the HVIAC, averaging just over 20 points per game. Losing their top gunner is a major setback for the Warriors for the rest of the season. Noel will be out for the remainder of the season and will rehab over the next eight to 12 months, with plans to return after his recovery.
