Astoria, N.Y. - Freshmen guard Michael Pena (Dumont, NJ) receives his third Rookie of the Week honors for the HVIAC. Pena has been a solid contributor for the Warriors all season. Against last year's division one USCAA national champions, Pena poured in 24 points in a losing effort. He was perfect from the charity stripe, connecting on all four of his free throw attempts. Pena also drained four 3-pointers in the game and added a couple of rebounds, a steal and two assists to fill out his stat line.
