FROM MANHATTAN

Take the Queens Midtown Tunnel to the Long Island Expressway. Exit at Grand Central Parkway - West. Take LaGuardia Airport Exit 6-94th Street. Stay in the right lane and make a right turn onto 94th Street. Proceed to the top of the hill, which is 23rd Avenue. Make a right on 23rd Avenue to the College at 90th Street.

FROM BROOKLYN AND POINTS WEST

Take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to LaGuardia Airport Exit. Take Astoria Boulevard East to 85th Street, turn left and then turn right onto 23rd Avenue. Proceed to 90th Street and make a left turn into the College.

Grand Central Parkway - Eastbound: Take LaGuardia Airport Exit 6 - 94th Street, Terminal B. Stay in the right lane and turn right onto 94th Street. Proceed to top of the hill, which is 23rd Avenue. Turn right on 23rd Avenue to the College at 90th Street.

FROM LONG ISLAND AND POINTS EAST

Grand Central Parkway - Westbound: Take LaGuardia Airport Exit 7 - 94th Street. Stay in the right lane on the long exit ramp and make a left turn onto 94th Street. Proceed to the top of the hill. Turn right on 23rd Avenue and turn right to the College at 90th Street.

FROM NEW JERSEY

Take I-95 North or I-80 East to the George Washington Bridge. Cross the bridge and take the Major Deegan Expressway (I-87) South. Take the R.F. Kennedy Bridge (formerly Triboro Bridge) to the Grand Central Parkway. Take LaGuardia Airport Exit 7 - 94th Street. Stay in the right lane on the long exit ramp exit and turn left onto 94th Street. Proceed to the top of the hill and turn right on 23rd Avenue and another right to the College at 90th Street.

FROM CONNECTICUt

Follow I-95 South to the Hutchinson River Parkway Exit 14 toward the Whitestone Bridge. Cross the bridge to the Whitestone Expressway (I-687). Take Grand Central Pkwy West - Exit 13. Exit at the LaGuardia Airport Exit 7 - 94th Street. Stay in the right lane on the long exit ramp and turn left onto 94th Street. Proceed to the top of the hill and turn right on 23rd Avenue and another right to the College at 90th Street.

 

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Take the E or F train to Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights (express stop) or the 7 train to 74th Street-Broadway (local stop), then take the Q33 LaGuardia Airport bus to the College at 87th Street or the Q48 Marine Air Terminal bus from Main Street, Flushing.

M60 is a local bus service between Morningside Heights, Manhattan and LaGuardia Airport, Queens. The bus leaves from Broadway and West 106th Street, proceeds north on Broadway and then east on 125th Street. It crosses the R.F. Kennedy Bridge (formerly Triboro Bridge) into Queens and stops across the street from the College on 23rd Avenue at 87th Street.

By Car

All vehicular access is via the RFK Triborough Bridge.  Once on the RFK Triborough Bridge follow signs to Randall’s Island.  If navigating with GPS, please use “20 Randall’s Island Park, New York, NY 10035″ as your destination. MTA Bridges & Tunnels charge a toll of $8.50 to access the Island, but there is no toll upon exiting.

Please Note: Cashless Tolling is now in effect on the RFK Triborough Bridge.  Cars will no longer wait in line to pay the toll in cash, nor will E-Z Pass customers need to stop because the toll booths have been removed.

By Mass Transit

Via Train/Bus

The M35 bus runs to the Island from the Northwest corner of 125th Street and Lexington Avenue. Transfer is available from the Lexington Avenue 4, 5 or 6 subway at 125th Street.
 

Walk/Bike

Randall’s Island Park offers miles of pedestrian and bicycle pathways, mostly along its scenic waterfront, accessible from points in Manhattan, the Bronx and Queens.

From Manhattan:

103rd Street Footbridge

The 103rd Street Footbridge in Manhattan is open to pedestrians and cyclists 365 days per year, 24 hours per day, and connects the East River Esplanade/FDR Drive at 103rd Street with the southern end of Randall’s Island Park.

RFK Triborough Bridge

A walkway along the RFK Triborough Bridge runs between 125th Street and 2nd Avenue and the northwestern section of Randall’s Island Park. Note: the ramp on this walkway exceeds ADA code.

From the Bronx:

The Randall’s Island Connector

The Randall’s Island Connector provides at-grade access to pedestrians and cyclists 365 days per year, 24 hours a day, and runs under the arches of the Hell Gate Bridge railroad trestle between 132nd Street at Willow/Walnut Avenues in the Bronx and the northern shore of Randall’s Island Park.

RFK Triborough Bridge

Walkways on both the eastern and western sides of the RFK Triborough Bridge run between 133rd Street at Cypress Avenue/Bruckner Boulevard and the Bronx Shore Fields area at Randall’s Island Park. Note: these walkways exceed ADA code.

From Queens:

RFK Triborough Bridge

A walkway runs along the RFK Triborough Bridge between Hoyt Avenue and 28th Street, adjacent to the Astoria Boulevard N/W subway station, and the midpoint of Randall’s Island Park, adjacent to the Central Fields. Note: due to stairs this pathway is not ADA accessible

Follow that road till you get to a stop sign and make a right. Go straight and The USTA National Tennis Center is located on your left.

FROM CONNECTICUT/WESTCHESTER (PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS CONSTRUCTION ON THE WHITESTONE BRIDGE. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY):Take I-95 to the Whitestone Bridge to the Grand Central Parkway and follow the signs to Exit 25 A East, Northern Blvd./Citi Field Stadium.

 

SUBWAY

Take the IRT #7 Flushing subway from either Times Square or Grand Central to the Citi Field/Willets Point Station. The USTA National Tennis Center is about a three-minute walk down the ramp from the station.

OR: Take the IND "E" or "F" trains to Roosevelt Avenue and transfer upstairs to the IRT #7 train (Flushing bound) subway to the Citi Field/Willets Point Station. The USTA National Tennis Center is about a three-minute walk down the ramp from the station.

The Long Island Railroad Port Washington branch departs from Penn Station to the Mets-Willets Point Station. Mets-Willets Point is located between Woodside and Flushing Main Street and is served seasonally for special events.
